MEDICAL WING

The College has a fully-staffed Medical Wing located adjacent to Skipwith House, which cares for all day and boarding pupils.

The Medical Wing is staffed by Senior Sister Debbie Mundy and Sister Jenny Fitzgerald. The experienced team are on hand at all times to provide general healthcare and first aid to pupils. There is a comfortable sick bay for pupils to rest and recuperate whilst awaiting parent collection or until they feel ready to return to school life.

The College Medical Officer is Dr Phillip Unwin, based at Hart Surgery, York Street, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 2DR. The surgery can be contacted on 01491 843 200. Dr Unwin holds a surgery for boarders every Monday and Friday morning during term time. Imran Ul-haq is our visiting physiotherapist from Physiocare, and he holds a clinic on Wednesday afternoons, if and when pupils are referred by Dr Unwin. This provides exceptional treatment for pupils recovering from sporting injuries or growth-related pains.

The Medical Wing can be contacted via email on medical.wing@shiplake.org.uk or by phone on 01189 405 233.
