As part of the College’s commemoration of the centenary of World War One, we are delighted to welcome Jon Cooksey, a leading military historian and former member of Shiplake staff, to share his thoughts and current research on the war. His most recent book - Harry’s War, the Great War Diary of Warwickshire Kitchener volunteer Harry Drinkwater - was published in 2013 to critical acclaim.
Parents and pupils are warmly invited to join us in the Lecture Theatre on Tuesday 18 November at 7.30pm with drinks afterwards.
