Back for its fifth year, the Friday Night Lights event at Henley Rugby Club on Friday 20 November promises to be bigger and better than ever!
All pupils, parents, siblings, friends and members of the local community are invited to watch the Shiplake 1st XV take on Merchant Taylors' School under the floodlights at Henley RFC.
Please note that those travelling by car should park in the field next door and not use the main entrance.
4.30pm: Players depart for Henley RFC
5.45pm: U12A and U13A vs Gillotts School
6.30pm: Supporters buses depart from Shiplake to Henley RFC
7.15pm: Shiplake 1st XV vs Merchant Taylors’ School
8.45pm: Coaches return to College for those requiring transport
Please note that the school buses will be running as normal.
Warm food will be on sale and the bar will be open from 5.45pm with the sporting action commencing immediately. As a curtain-raiser, Shiplake's Lower School rugby teams will take on Gillotts School in a 'Henley Derby'. A loud, enthusiastic crowd is expected for the big match, kicking off at 7.15pm. Admission is free so wrap up warm and come and support the boys for the highlight of the rugby season! Programmes will be on sale with all proceeds going to the Matt Hampson Foundation charity.
