Shiplake College Drama Department is taking on their biggest challenge yet, staging a contemporary version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. Combining award winning playwright Bryony Lavery’s hilarious script with an ambitious changeable set, our very own folie artist team and a group of shanty singers, this production claims to be the most exciting and action packed the school has ever seen!
The play begins in the Benbow Inn with lead protagonist Jim Hawkins and his hugely eccentric Grandmother and takes the audience on an adventure over the high seas in search of the ultimate pirate prize… treasure!
