Parents, pupils and Old Vikings are warmly invited to the Gap Africa Fundraising Dinner, celebrating 25 years of the Shiplake College Expedition Society. The event will be held on Saturday 14 May at 7.00pm, in the Great Hall at Shiplake College.
The evening will comprise of a champagne reception and a sumptuous three course meal. Entertainment will also be provided; diners will enjoy music from an international opera singer, and dancing after dinner. For those pupils, both past and present, who have been on an expedition with Shiplake College and Gap Africa, the event will also provide the perfect opportunity to reminisce about challenging and rewarding trips to Africa.
Tickets are priced at £60.00 per head. All proceeds raised from the event will go towards building Kikunduku Secondary School in Kenya, offering children in impoverished areas the opportunity to attend school and gain an education.
