The Headmaster warmly invites all Year 13 leavers and their parents to attend this year’s Leavers’ Ball. The Ball will be held in the prize-giving marquee, in front of the pavilion and is strictly a black tie event. This event is always a great way for both parents and students to say farewell to one another and to celebrate their time as part of the Shiplake community. We see our parents very much as part of the community, and it would be wonderful to have as many parents attending the ball as possible. Tickets are £65.00 each for parents and pupils and will, as always, be in very high demand.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 7.00pm, followed by dinner in the marquee served at 8.00pm. There will be a live band for the majority of the evening, followed by a disco. As is tradition, breakfast will be served at 1.15am in the Great Hall to complete the evening. We do hope you will be able to join the fun and round off your son’s or daughter’s time here at Shiplake College in real style.
