Parents are reminded that the B478 Playhatch Road at Sonning Eye will be closed this weekend from the Spring Lane t-junction to the A4155 Henley Road roundabout. The roadworks are in operation from 8.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday 7 June and from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Sunday 8 June.
This means the College will be inaccessible from the Sonning direction after 8.00am on Saturday, so parents are advised to travel to College early in order to avoid the road closure, or use an alternative route via Reading or Henley.
Spring Lane will remain open, and with Sonning Bridge itself unaffected, travel in the opposite direction away from College will be permissible all weekend, meaning return journeys should not be affected.
Following completion of the work, the road will reopen to single file traffic under temporary traffic signals.
