Just before half-term, pupils received their third Progress Review of the academic year. And, during Monday's Whole College Assembly, Deputy Head (Academic) Mr Jones congratulated those pupils who have made the greatest progress in their engagement with learning scores between Progress Review 2 (December 2022) and Progress Review 3 (February 2023). This is essentially pupils' attitude to learning and effort both in and out of the classroom.
Speaking in Assembly, Mr Jones said:
‘Every single pupil at the College has the potential to receive recognition for their engagement with learning, no matter what grade they are currently working at. We strongly believe that if pupils continue to engage with their learning and to make every lesson count, then the grades and their academic 'personal best' will surely follow.’
