Head of Media Studies, Mr Milburn, had the following to say:

"I say it year on year, but the quality of the work produced just keeps getting better and better. It has been really exciting to see some of the innovation the students are incorporating into their films, and I know the Year 13 work has already inspired the Year 12s as they start to think about their next project. The practical work is a big part of the media course as a whole and it deserves a place on the big screen. I really hope the students and staff who attended enjoyed the experience. Who knows, future winners of the Shiplake Oscars may well have been in the audience, watching along and being inspired themselves."
