Our trip had a very early start at 3:00 in the morning to accommodate time to take bus, a plane, then another bus to the hotel, and get our ski gear fitted in readiness to hit the slopes the next day.
We had 5 full days of skiing. During that period, we were tutored by the ski coaches, allowing us to improve our ability whilst having fun. After an intense day of skiing our nights were filled with various fun activities such as bowling, pizza night and Shiplake taskmaster.
My personal highlights were, quiz night including questions from each teacher about the trip, watching the teachers and my friends “sing” during karaoke night, and the world-renowned Mr Davis putting our bowling skills to shame. However, it wasn’t just bowling where he was well known. He had also earned the title of Most fallen over while skiing.
Overall, the experience was amazing including, our day trip to challenge ourselves on the French slopes, our ski assessment and learning to how carve. I enjoyed the trip and I want to thank all the amazing staff that helped put it together.
