All Shiplake College pupils, parents and staff are warmly invited to a private view of GCSE, AS and A2 artwork this Saturday 21 June from 2.30pm-4.00pm in the Great Hall.
Shiplake’s artists have produced outstanding work this year, including the Headmaster’s postcards shown above produced by Danny Rumbelow, Hux Loudon, Libby Harman, Henry Lewis, Matt Sheehan, Alice White, Thomas Mockridge and Oscar Burgess.
These and many more fabulous artistic displays featuring a range of media will be on show at the exhibition. The event will also see the exciting launch of the 2014 Secret Postcard Exhibition.
All details of this exciting Exhibition will be revealed in tomorrow’s newsletter, with attendees on Saturday given the first opportunity to take part.
Those visiting the College on Saturday afternoon may wish to head to the Front Field to watch the Old Viking Society take on the current 1st XI cricket team. It is always an entertaining and even match, with plenty of Sixth Form stars and familiar faces from years gone by in action.
