Amongst many traditions that Prize Giving brings, none is more hotly anticipated that the announcement of the next Head of College. This year was a particularly memorable one as the out-going Head of College, Greg Cooke, upon finishing his speech to parents, pupils and staff, handed over the metaphorical baton to Emily Wilkinson. This marks a historic moment for Shiplake as this is the first female to be appointed as Head of College.
Emily will lead the College for 2016-2017, ably supported by Deputy Head of College, Henry Blois-Brooke, and a team of prefects. All the Year 12 pupils applied to be a prefect and following a grueling selection process the following have been appointed:
