Last Thursday Night, the Great Hall welcomed pupils studying Art, Photography, Drama and Music for the first ever Arts Dinner.

The event was first discussed four years ago, when Head of Drama Mrs Nunes suggested an event similar to the Sports Dinner, but to celebrate the hard work and dedication of pupils in those subjects from Years 11, 12 and 13.

The evening was attended by these pupils; as well as teachers of music Mr Curran, Mr Ward and Mrs Rapple-Moore; drama teachers Mrs Nunes, Mrs Pearson and drama technician Mrs Hine; photography teacher Miss Mordue; and art teachers Mrs Krause and Mrs Hallam. Old Vikings James Hargreaves, Ruaridhi Sheppard and Jamal Springer-Lynch, were also in attendance, having been invited to celebrate their contributions to the arts in years gone by.
