Mr Brown had a fantastic response to the Kindness Poster Challenge he set pupils at the beginning of term.
The challenge was for tutor groups to come together and come up with the ideas on what kindness means to them and put them into a poster.
Mr Brown said he was 'bowled over' by the amount of entries and the fantastic messages of kindness on the posters. Special mention goes to Mr Beckett's tutor group who all designed and produced computer generated posters and to Years 7 and 8 for their colourful and imaginative paintings, which will go on display.
However, the awards for the most outstanding and impactful posters go to:
First Place
Jamie King and Oliver Dee in Year 11 for their fantastic Shiplake branded poster with some very important messages.
Second Place
Second place goes to Will Taylor in Year 12 for his thoughtfully designed poster which displays the key elements of kindness.
Third Place
Third place goes to Ewan Pratt in Year 10 whose colourful 'kindess is contagious' poster captured the eye.
Well done to everyone who completed Mr Brown's challenge, we hope it helped to raise the importance of kindness in life at Shiplake and beyond.
