Headmaster Mr Tyrone Howe was delighted to reveal the new prefect team for the 2021-22 academic year in Whole School Assembly this morning. The team of 22 prefects was selected from 67 students who applied and were interviewed and assessed for the role.
He said: "Over the past two weeks I've had the pleasure of putting together a prefect team from the 67 who applied. Every single interview was enjoyable and it is clear that they love our school and its ethos, despite the disruptive year we've had.
"All the interviewees left a positive impression, leaving me with a very difficult decision arriving at the final candidates."
As part of the online assembly, each of the prefects in turn introduced themselves and said a little bit about them such as their subjects and interests.
The Joint Heads of College and Heads of Houses will be announced over the next few weeks.
