All members of the local community are very welcome to attend our Christmas Fair on Saturday 13 November, 10.00am to 2.00pm.
The Sports Hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland for guests to get ahead with their Christmas shopping.
We will be welcoming lots of local businesses selling gifts from their stalls including Jenny Zolkwer Ceramics, Hot Creative, Embroidery Unlimited, Fairmile Vineyard, Bella & Bo @Home, as well as local artists, food, jewellery, clothing, ceramics, skincare and candle companies selling their wares.
Some stallholders will be raising money for various charities and pupils from our own Charity Committee will have a stall for the younger guests to decorate gingerbread men.
Festive nibbles and mulled wine are available to purchase and we are even lucky enough to be expecting a visit from Father Christmas.
We will be making the Sports Hall Marquee as COVID safe as possible with stalls spaced out more than usual, ventilation from the four entrances and all guests will be encouraged to wear masks.
Mrs Catherine Brazil, Events & Alumni Officer, said; "Following the disappointment of not having a Christmas Fair last year, it is really good to be back for what will now be our twelfth year. It is a real community event for everyone in the local area, so do please pay us a visit, all are welcome.
"The PA work tirelessly to make the grotto really special and there will be something for everyone, with lovely crafts and wares from our stallholders and delicious food and drink. The Shiplake Community Choir will once again be performing to create a really lovely Christmassy atmosphere."
We look forward to seeing you there!
