The Photography Department was really impressed with the standard of photographs submitted this year for the Lower School Photography Competition on the theme of 'Spring'.
The entries varied from photographs of animals and flowers to landscapes and scenery.
All the images submitted were really creative, colourful and embraced the theme of 'Spring' really well. Special mention to Daniel Johnson-Greenwood who entered three beautiful images. His colourful tulip photograph won with the majority of both Staff and A Level Photography student votes. Daniel, along with Sam Baker, James Middlehurst, Harry Biggs, Sena Hughes and Josh Zacharias who all received Highly Commended awards were all presented with prizes in yesterday's whole school assembly.
Miss Chloe Mordue, Head of Photography, said: "There have been lots of comments from staff and students about the high standard of photography in this competition, and I look forward to seeing what they can produce in the future and hopefully some will take A Level Photography in a few years' time!"
