In a recent Whole School Assembly, Head of Photography Mrs Lovelock was delighted to announce the winners of the recent Lower School Photography competition!
The exciting Lower School Photography competition took place over the Easter break for all pupils in Year 7 and Year 8 with each pupil allowed to submit up to three photographs. The theme for the competition was Spring, which gave everyone entering the competition the scope to be creative in their works. It was also a great opportunity to see some of Shiplake's 'budding' photographers in action!
Such was the popularity of the competition that the entries were split into the following three sub-themes:
- Animals and Insects
- Landscapes
- Flowers
Staff at the College were then invited to vote their favourite photo taken in each theme with the winners being announced on Monday 6 May. Well done to the following pupils:
- K Pivonka (Year 7) for her sheep photo
- Ethan Price (Year 8) for his flowers in the forest photo
- Aiden Gern-Gross (Year7) for his close-up flower photo
- Danny Petrov (Year 8) for his flowerbed photo
- Rory Macdonald (Year 8) for his small and big cat photos
