Ahead of their moderation on Friday 14 June, the Photography Department showcased the wonderful talent of their Year 13 A-level photography pupils in a special exhibition! The exhibition took place on Thursday 13 June and staff, pupils, and parents were invited to attend and gaze upon the work created by this group of pupils over the last two years.
Head of Photography, Mrs Lovelock, says:
'On Thursday 14 June, we welcomed the students, their friends and family as well as staff to come and see all the amazing photography A-level work on display. It was brilliant to have all the work from the Year 13 Photographers up on full display, showcasing the amazing talent that we have.
During their A-level, the students produce three projects all based on different themes, plus a Personal Study essay on a chosen topic. The titles from all students were really varied and creative this year and ranged from people and places, street, macro, motorsport, structure, wildlife, and environment. Projects also included lots of photographs from our fantastic New York Trip last year.
The A-level students have worked really hard over the last two years to produce beautifully laid out sketchbooks on their chosen themes, as well as a display of their work to summarise their project. Mrs Krause and I are really proud of all the work that they have produced, and we hope that the moderation with Edexcel was successful.'
Well done and best of luck to the following pupils!
