On the penultimate day of the term the College's Christmas celebrations ramped up even more as pupils and staff donned Christmas jumpers and enjoyed House Christmas parties and an incredible Christmas lunch.
The morning started with the community coming together in the Sports Hall for a final College Carol rehearsal ahead of the service the next day. At the end of the rehearsal the prefects announced the winners of the House Decorating Competition which was awarded to Skipwith. During break there was a tuck shop sale in the Great Hall in aid of the charity Gap Africa and not long after that the first of the Houses arrived at the servery for their Christmas lunch!
The Thomas Franks catering team once again pulled off an absolutely stunning spread for Christmas lunch, with the first pupils and staff going through at 11.30am with members of the Senior Management Team ready to serve all pupils and staff as they went through Houses by House - even Father Christmas himself was on hand to serve the gravy! In addition to all the traditional Christmas lunch food options there was an oversized cheeseboard and a dessert counter with every Christmas pudding option imaginable. Thank you to all at Thomas Franks for the amazing Christmas lunch and to all involved in the day's Christmas festivities.
