The spring term is coming to an end, and with it the end of the hockey and football season. The teams took the opportunity this week to celebrate those players who have made significant contributions to both Hockey and Football. Hosted by Head of Hockey Mr Tom Walter, Director of Sport Mr James Gaunt and Head of Football Mr Richard Ebbage, the awards were the perfect opportunity to recognise the hard work and commitment of the players throughout the previous weeks.

The pupils were fortunate to be joined by special guest Maddie Hinch, who is the Great Britain and England hockey goalkeeper. To be joined by such a prestigious name in the sport was incredibly inspirational for the pupils. Maddie spoke of the commitment necessary to pursue a career in sports, helping to motivate the pupils to push themselves further in sports in the future. The evening was successful and enjoyable.
