Just before the Christmas break, a team of budding reporters were hard at work putting together the Autumn Term issue of student magazine, The Viking Voice.
The Viking Voice features a range of interesting articles and features on current affairs including The Female Leaders Beating COVID and Conservation in our Oceans, as well as guest columns from Mrs Rapple Moore and 'agony aunt' Mr Shaw, and fun interactive quizzes such as 'guess the teacher'.
Special mentions go to:
- Laura Pasmore for her well researched and interesting feature on The Female Leaders Beating COVID
- Katie Baxter for her fun piece on Teenage Teachers and interview with Miss Mordue on girls' sport
- Guest writer, Alex Taylor-McDowell for his article on the troubled life of Lou Reed
- Anna May-Knight for her interview with Mr Loughe about life in lockdown
- Rada Pandeva, for her eye-opening article on conservation in our oceans
- Harry Cucksey, Zachary Devine, Elizabeth Tang and Aimee Smee for their contributions and pulling the magazine together
Editor in Chief, Mr Stuart Read, also offered up prizes to the first tutor groups to respond to the mini pub quiz and spot the difference. And the winners were:
