The football term came to a close with an end of season dinner last week, giving an opportunity for the coaches and players to celebrate the fantastic achievements across all five boys' senior teams and the progress each player has made since January.
Having almost one hundred players across five teams is the largest undertaking of football the school has seen, especially considering the majority of these players haven’t played a match of football in two and a half years.
Head of Football, Mr Ben Claridge, said: "Every single player has embodied the spirit of Shiplake and stuck by our player expectations to the letter with every coach we have come up against complementing their sportsmanship and desire to play quality football.
"Our dinner represented the end of a fantastic season and gave our players the opportunity to be praised for going above and beyond what is expected."
