It has been fantastic to see lots of pupils busy in the kitchen over the past two weeks, along with photos of their mouth-watering bakes!
Shiplake Makes and Bakes is the College's virtual cookery club for everyone in the Shiplake Community to get involved in.
Brought to us by Head Baker, Mrs Parrott, each week there will be recipes and videos for all our keen bakers to get involved with and have a try at home.
Look out for some of our own 'Shiplake Celebrity Chefs', sharing the secrets from their kitchens too!
Mrs Parrott, said: "At Shiplake we like to eat and to cook. We have run a successful cookery club in the activities programme since 2013. Now we have moved online. Every week we shall be sharing a new recipe from one of our Shiplake celebrity chefs from their own kitchens. So put on your aprons, try out our weekly recipes and send us your pictures."
So far we have been treated to Mrs Parrott's shortbread and Mrs Rapple Moore's cheese scones. You can watch these demonstrations here:
