This year's Octave of Music Captains were announced in Whole School Assembly this week.
The role of a Music Captain is to be a leader in their specialist field and encourage other musicians to get involved in the range of musical opportunities on offer at the College. They will also have responsibility for certain events throughout the year.
Congratulations to the following pupils:
- Tom Stuart - Captain of the First Eight and Joint Captain of Chorus
- Johnny Miller - Captain of Camerata and Joint Captain of Chorus
- Richard Wang - Captain of Chapel Pianists
- Noah Scotchbrook - Captain of Rock Choir
- Leo Slowikowski - Joint Captain of Big Band
- Seb Crehan-Mills - Joint Captain of Big Band
- Felix Collar - Captain of Bands
- Elliot Jones - Captain of Chapel and College Brass
Mr Richard Curran, Director of Music said: "I am delighted at the appointment of this year's Octave of Music Captains. Each of them brings a different leadership quality to the role and their work ethic is second to none.
"I am looking forward to working closely with them this year and thank them in advance for their contribution to the musical life of the College."
