Four Year 12 boys and their band 'Idle Thoughts' played to a crowd at the Leander Club at Henley's first winter festival, GLOW just before Christmas.
The GLOW festival took place over six days with an apres ski vibe in marquees next to the Leander Club. With headliners East 17, there was also a beer festival, comedy night and family day on the Sunday our band performed.
Director of Music, Mr Richard Curran, said: "The boys have only been playing together as a band for a couple of months now but by the way they play, you'd think they'd been playing as a unit for years.
"Lead singer and guitarist Luke Morgan fronted 'Idle Thoughts', expertly accompanied by Otis Button on bass, Fergus Heggie on guitar and Matt Grundy on drums. Their performances of Longshot by Catfish and the Bottle Men and What You Know by Two Door Cinema Club left the audience wanting more."
Look out for 'Idle Thoughts' over the next two terms and on the mainstage at Shiplake Rocks in June.
