Shiplake Community Golf Day 2024

This event takes place on Wednesday 25 September 2024 and is open to our whole Shiplake Community (current and former staff and parents and Old Vikings). We'd especially love to see any female players and for the first time we are welcoming current Shiplake pupils to play.

It will take place at the prestigious Henley Golf Club, with arrival from 12.30pm for refreshments ahead of first tee at 1.30pm.

Arrival from 12.30pm for a bacon roll and hot drink, tee-off at 1.30pm, with a one-course meal provided afterwards.

Price: £80 per head. Members of Henley Golf Club have a discounted rate. If you are a Henley Golf Club member - please select this option on the form.

Price: Juniors - we have a subsidised rate of £20 for Shiplake pupils to play. We are hoping to build a junior team - so all juniors will be playing together. If there is more demand than places we will select players based on ability - the £20 contribution will then be invoiced from the school. If your child would like to play - please email [email protected] with their name, year group and handicap.

Teams: For adult teams please organise your own 3 or 4 Ball or be request to be allocated to a team.

Prizes for: Best score, Highest Stableford, The Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin will be on designated holes.

Handicap: This event is not suitable for beginners/novices but high handicappers welcome. Junior players will need to have a handicap of under 30. Please can we ask all golfers ensure they play ‘ready golf’ to help with the speed of play.

Parking: Parking is free. The Golf Club have asked that there are no high-sided vehicles/4x4s parked on the roadside parking spaces along Harpsden Way.

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
