The College boasts a range of exceptional sporting facilities including magnificent grass pitches, tennis courts, a multi-purpose sports hall, swimming pool and first-class boat house. Depending on school commitments, these facilities are sometimes available for external use. Shiplake regularly hosts major events such as school tournaments, triathlons, river swims and county sports fixtures.
We currently have strong links with a number of clubs that regularly use our facilities. Further information is available below.

Shiplake Stars Netball Club
Shiplake Stars is an inclusive and welcoming community netball club, running a variety of sessions for players of all ages.
Our junior sessions are held on Sunday mornings at Shiplake College for players in Years 2-8 and our focus is very much on improving netball skills in a fun and friendly environment.
Sessions are led by qualified coaches and we train throughout the year on the College's fantastic new astroturf.
We currently have limited spaces available in our Year 2-3 group and have a waiting list for our Year 4-5 and 6-8 groups.

Henley Triathlon Club
Tri-Henley is a friendly and welcoming club which caters for girls and boys in Years 5-13. The club is affiliated with the British Triathlon Federation, and has been awarded British Triathlon's TriMark Club Bronze Accreditation and compete in the South Central region.
Bike and run training sessions take place here at Shiplake College between 6.30pm to 8.00pm (swim training takes place on Wednesdays at Henley Leisure Centre or in an open water location).

Rotherfield Football Club U11 Wildcats
During the winter months, Shiplake College is the home to the Wildcats, the U11 Girls' team at Rotherfield Football Club. They train on Tuesday evenings under the floodlights on the Astroturf.
Vikings Rowing Club
The Shiplake Vikings Rowing Club is run independently but also based at Shiplake College and its members are from the local community. The Vikings share the College’s boats and equipment. Training often takes place on Sundays.
