ART CAMPS

In 2025 we are offering two Art Camp options! There is a two-day printing workshop for girls and boys going into Years 6 to 9, and a two-day GCSE art camp for those going into Years 10 or 11. Both camps give students access to the College’s excellent art facilities as well as expert tuition in developing new techniques and skills with a variety of mixed media.

Art Camp (Years 6-9)

Two-Day Printing Workshop with Sarah Krause – 28 and 29 July 2025 (£90 per person)

We are pleased to offer our very popular Summer Art Camp again for girls and boys going into Years 6-9 in 2025. Led by Mrs Sarah Krause, this is a two-day printing art workshop on 28 and 29 July. Each day will run from 9.00am - 1.00pm, with a light lunch included. All materials are supplied.

This two-day art camp will allow students to embrace their creative talents and develop new skills in the field of printing and etching. Over the two days they will cover a variety of mixed media backgrounds on which to print using the College's excellent art facilities as well as expert tuition.

After the two days, students will have an abundance of artwork to take home. The students will be working in the Art Department which is on the top floor of the John Turner Building. It features three large classrooms, all of which benefit from natural light flooding in through numerous skylights. The inspirational space allows artists the freedom to express themselves creatively through painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting and designing. There will also be opportunities for the students to work on their own independent projects and themes.

Included in the two-day workshop:

  • All materials and resources
  • One to one support
  • Detailed demonstrations
  • Personal folder to take home all artwork
  • Light lunch
  • Shiplake water bottle

Attendees should wear old clothes with roll up sleeves.
