As the Autumn Term begins to wind down, we catch up with the set of fixtures that took place over the last week for today's Sports Report. In rugby, the season ended with block fixtures against Pangbourne College with many positive results while our senior netball girls played a pre-season match against GMS.
Netball
U18A vs Great Marlow School
On Tuesday 3 December, we played Great Marlow School. The final score was 23-19 to Marlow, which was an unfortunate score. For most of the match, we had possession, but we let the score slip away in the last quarter. An extremely good effort for the first game of the season especially as we haven't trained as a team yet to make vital connections. A very special thank you to A Richardson and P Hart who both stepped up from the second team to help us out; they played excellently. Coach’s Player went to S Pendlebury, Player Of the Match went to E O'Neil, and Players’ Player to M Mundy. A good first match to set us up for the competitive season next term!
