SUMMER CAMPS

We are pleased to offer a range of camps at Shiplake College each summer. Bookings for the 2025 camps 2025 will open soon.

The Rowing Camps prove hugely popular every year, catering for over 50 students per week and giving access to Shiplake College’s enviable fleet of boats, world-class boathouse and our own very experienced and professional coaches. We hope that the five-day camp gives students an insight in to what it is like to be part of one of the UK’s most successful rowing schools, whilst also developing their skills out on the river. The camps are for girls and boys going into Years 9 to 13.

The Multi-Sport Camps are for boys and girls going into Years 4 to 7. Across the week, sports will include football, netball, rounders, cricket, tennis, hockey, swimming and basketball. There will also be team games in the afternoons. The camps are designed to be inclusive and fun for all participants, with a view to develop skills in a range of different sports, meet new friends and learn from our excellent coaches. There is also a limited number of spaces for a Residential Experience for girls and boys going into years 6 and 7, staying in one of our boarding houses on Monday 29 July and Tuesday 30 July and enjoying evening activities as well as participating in the three multi-sport camp days from Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 July.

New for 2025 is our Sports Masterclass Camps for boys and girls going into Years 7 to 10. Pupils can select their chosen sport (or sports) for a morning, afternoon or all-day session to receive specialist performance coaching in football, hockey, cricket, netball and/or rugby. Day only or residential options available.

The Art Camps include a four-day art camp for girls and boys going into Years 6 to 9 and a two-day GCSE art camp those going into Years 10 or 11. Both camps give students access to the College’s excellent art facilities as well as expert tuition in developing new techniques and skills with a variety of mixed media.
